tovanta 49 Posted August 16, 2012 I am 2 1/2 weeks post op....I would like know what is the true reason for "not drinking with or before your meal" No one has really been able to answer this question....and to be honest when I see my dr. I have so many other questions that I forget about this one important question. I hear the rules are 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after. clancy 18 Posted August 17, 2012 This is a nice video but I'm not sure it addresses the issue for Sleeves. From what I understand, when you're left with a stomach about the size of a hot dog and you pour a lot of liquid in on top of a very limited amount to food you are going to be extremely full very fast.
