beefalogal 43 Posted September 16, 2012 I am going to the 'big' city for Monday and Tuesday and have found several in the DFW area. Will definitely stop and shop before coming back to the 'big' city for my surgery on Thursday. I have been looking for alfalfa seeds for my hubby to sprout when on his rotations in Angola Africa and so far I have struck out at Whole Foods and such. Thanks for bringing this store to my attention.
fattymcfatterson 107 Posted September 16, 2012 I was just at Sprouts today. They have a b1g1 free right now on some of their stuff including some Soups and beans/lentils. Beffa, I will keep my eyes open for alfalfa seeds. Have you tried central market? I know they have wheat berries (to sprout wheat grass) in their bulk bins but I have never looked for alfalfa seeds. Would they be in the garden center at Lowes?

Would they be in the garden center at Lowes? I found several seeds for sprouting at Wholr Foods and Central Market but for some reason alfalfa are hard to find now. Back in the 80's they were plentiful. I do have chia seeds but have not tried to sprout them. Seeds marketed for planting are not usually safe for sprouting. They are frequently treated. Thanks for helping keep an eye out for them.
