Chicago1962 125 Posted November 9, 2012 I have never heard of any of these books? So are they fiction books or biographies? Is the character fat or trying to lose weight? I'm confused - BUT INTERESTED!!! One of my favorite books (autobiography) is Showing Up for Life. Very good. Now I want to read all these books!!!!
Losingitforgood! 50 Posted November 9, 2012 Yes these are fiction. They are weight related books. The Cinderella Pact is about 3 friends trying to all lose weight in their own way- one hires a trainer, one does weight watchers and one does WLS. They make a deal to lose weight once and for all! I really enjoyed it!

I have never read any books in regard to being overweight and different paths to losing... Kinda stick to the same authors until you stumble on a new one. I've also bought several others that were recommended... Can't wait to start those!
LauraAnne6321 0 Posted January 6, 2013 I'm currently reading a book called "Fat Chances" by Erin Shaw. She got the bypass not the sleeve but she tells her story of her life and what lead up to her getting weight loss surgery and how her life has changed afterward. It is a great book. You will laugh, cry, and be able to relate to her life's challenges as a result of being overweight. Highly recommended!!!
