New to this site, with no surgery date as of yet. But I was curious and this seems to be the best forum for my question. Since we're talking about sex I want to know if any women or men having sex with female sleevers have noticed that it is easier to achieve orgasm. And I'm not talk about a "c" orgasm, I'm talking about the ones I've dreamed of, the ones from deep inside that make a woman's head spin. Just curious and I know I'll get more reponses from posting in the mens section than I would in the girls section.

Then all one needs to do is become uninhibited about excess skin... Oh and find a good man... But this is jumping way ahead of myself. But dreaming of the future is always fun!!!!!

Waiting for this day 3 weeks post op, my wife is considering surgery, hoping that our non existent sex life will change, & be closer to when we were 1st married! You know sex nearly every night, instead of the current, sex every 6 months ( if Im lucky)! Its both our problems, but REALLY miss a little Mommy/ Daddy time!!!

My doc kind of winked-winked and said no vigorous movement for at least several weeks, and no serious exercise for six weeks. I can tell you that my incisions/abdomen were still pretty tender last week when, um, things were tried. :) Gentle, gentle!

Awesome thread...it's nice to have somewhere to go where you can discuss some personal info. My hubby and I are enjoying each other once again :) Since I am only 3 weeks out I expect it's gonna get much better. We'll have the honeymoon we never had ! Lol and since I've had a hysterectomy there's no chance of an accident happening ;) Enjoy ladies and gentleman enjoy :)

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
