Today some relatives from out of town were visiting at my uncle's home with lots of other relatives in attendance. I chose to go (I wouldn't have gone in the past since I was embarrassed about my weight). Instead of feeling ashamed and self conscious, I felt empowered and happy. They were all happy to see me & I rec'd lots of compliments on my weight loss. I love my sleeve!

So happy for you, as human beings we are meant to be social and our weight has denied many of us that basic need. This is something that will fulfill you in so many ways.

That is wonderful! It's a shame that our weight ever caused us to hide in a shell since we were still the same beautiful, sunny people before the weight loss. Yet it is common for so many, myself included. Enjoy the new, more social you!!
