suepeeps 230 Posted February 1, 2013 One of my good friends is going to the super bowl. Her brother in law is the GM for the 49ers. Whenever she goes to games with them she is usually down on the field. I wonder if she will be this weekend???? Lucky girl!

No game 14,437 Posted February 1, 2013 We have plenty of different types of people here for that! Hipsters, old hippies, young rich hippies, Old money, new money, women that have had so much work done on their faces they don't even look human any more! But we are pretty laid back with good senses of humor about ourselves!

petra1124 33 Posted February 6, 2013 I haven't been sleeved yet but I am hoping by end of September. Here are my pre-op confessions: 1) I confess... I have been obsessing over this procedure since I started looking into it in April. 2) I confess... I have NOT followed my nutritionist's recommendations to the letter which makes me fear how I will handle life after surgery. 3) I confess... I am worried about the post-op emotional impact, I'm already such a wreck. 4) I confess... I am afraid that even surgery won't work for me. 5) I confess... I have only made it to the gym maybe 10 times in the last month which makes me worry about my post-op goals even more. 6) (extra bonus) I confess that, no matter what else I have posted, my asthma will keep me from getting the surgery and/or keep me from waking up after it. I can totally relate!! I am also pre-op...I confess as well that I have not been following my nutritional plan as well as I could have...the first week was great but I haven't been planning my meals as well so I slip up... I also confess that I think about this surgery every single day, and browse this forum all the time... I am scared of excess skin, my boobs shrinking to nothing and being "skinny" ....I NEVER HAVE BEEN! Im scared that this surgery wont work for me but I am going through with it anyways as long as insurance approves...if insurance does not approve I will be heart broken and wont know what to do with myself. I am afraid of what people will think of me if they know I have had weight loss surgery. Thanks for this thread....its comforting knowing I am not alone in my fears! Imjustmee 44 Posted February 6, 2013 Father forgive me for I have sinned. Confessions; 1. I'm not catholic. 2. After staying on the right path and being miserable craving everything I shouldn't eat I ate a 7/11 hot dog and sweet tea from mcds tonight. 3. I'm addicted to the sugar free apple juice powder at Walmart. 4. Even though I've lost a little over 100 pounds in the last 5 months I still don't see it. I still don't have a positive self image. 5. I feel often times like I'm flying at 300 miles an hour and I'm just waiting to crash into a wall. This process has been hard and finding my own way has been quite the challenge. I feel like I need a regimented manual to follow sometimes instead of just basic guidelines of eat more Protein. The rebel in me says what's wrong with treating yourself to a cookie or a couple bites of mashed potatoes? I'm proud of my accomplishments I just wish I had a little more direction.
