i'm a nervous wreck

Recommended Posts

my school starts on monday, and i am moving back to my single quarters (with my mother) tomorrow. and i can't even find my keys! my hands actually tremble with stress. plus, other than the fact that i am trying to cut back on sweets and trying to exercise more (and am tired like hell) for the last 3 days, i have to get my second filling on friday. i feel so nervous. needles scare me, and the injection itself makes me even nervous thinking about it. whenever i lie on my back, it's fine, but the other way around, i can actually feel the bloody thing between my breasts. and what if now i get a second filling, i begin throwing up and i do it in school??? what if everyone realizes i had a weight loss surgery, and did not actually have my gallbladder removed? i have enough problems with school anyway, without the added stress of the band. plus, i had a goal set for 18th of september, to be 90 kg, and i couldn't meet it.

i am so stressed out, and all of it started an hour ago. yesterday, it was summer, and now it's the stress of fall.:think

Good on you for starting an exercise program! You will feel sore, and remember to take it a day at a time.

Sweety, you will not start "thowing up" Just remember to eat slowly, and chew, chew, chew!

And as for your goal? Just relax, you will get there. It is hard work losing weight, and if it takes you a few weeks or months longer than you wanted it to, it will still happen, right?

Here is a big cyber ((hugg)) for the stress. You sound like you need it.

Ok, take a deep breath and relax.

First, when you had your first fill, did your doctor give you something to numb the area first? If not, ask him/her if they can this time, as it makes a huge difference.

As far as school goes, just be careful about what you eat. If you are going to class, and eat before hand, try to do so at least an hour before. Also, eat foods that you know you have eaten before and you do not have problems with. And, as Aussie chick said, remember to eat slow and chew chew chew!!!! You should do fine.

Change is hard . I know myself, I really hate change. Just try and stay positive about what lies ahead. Keep things in perspective and try not to worry about things that might not even happen.. You have 2 big things in your life at the moment that needs your focus..Don't beat yourself up about not being at a certain weight by a certain date. So what, if the scales are going down slowly that's all that counts.

Take care and try and stay positive.

Maybe you should explain your extreme anxieties with your doc. Perhaps some meds are in order. Medication can make all the difference in the world. I know from personal experience.

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.
