Raven21 121 Posted August 14, 2012 I don't know if it's the hormones or the weight but I feel like a total cliche'. Fat girl who sweats a lot. I feel so gross! Please tell me this decreases as I lose weight! I want to shiver and wear big bulky sweaters!
ALIGAYLE 20 Posted August 14, 2012 I hear you...I am the same cliche". I can't wait to not be sweaty and fat.
danyelleb 386 Posted August 14, 2012 Well, it does get better in some ways. I now run cold and always need a blanket or sweater if I'm sitting still or very sedentary. However, if I do the least bit of exercise I start sweating like crazy. In the beginning after post op I would barely sweat even when exercising. Now it's just nasty. I'm hoping that it subsides otherwise I'm going to be the "sweaty" teacher at work. I'm having a little bit of anxiety.
Back~To~Amy 307 Posted August 14, 2012 That sounds like me. Since surgery 10 weeks ago and losing 51 pounds, my heat intolerance is so much better. It's been over 100 degrees here for weeks and yes, it still gets to me. It just isn't as bad as it was. I've also noticed getting chilly sometimes in my office and prior to surgery that never happened. In the winter, the most I ever wore was 3/4 length sleeves and never a coat and only a lightweight jacket when I was outside. I never used my heat in the car either. I'm interested to see what I will be like this winter. Hang in there. The heat intolerance will get better as you get skinnier. 1 Raven21 reacted to this
