Right Sided Pain

Hello. I am post op day 11. I woke this morning with right upper abdomen pain, close to the rib cage, mainly with intake of breath.has anyone had this? I wonder if I slept wrong, I did sleep on my right side for a bit last night.

Did you get your gallbladder removed? Developing gall stones i know is a risk of surgery and you described the location of your gallbladder. Hope you are feeling better.

I did not get my gallbladder removed. Feels like rib pain? I stopped taking my actigall due to nausea, perhaps I should start back. Just feels like the rib is sore.

Saturday morning I woke up with a pain right above my hip. I went to e.r. and thought it was appendix. Ended up being gallbladder and had it taken out yesterday morning. All my labs were normal but when he took out my gallbladder he said that my gallbladder had been blocked for quite awhile, so long that my bile was clear because the membrane inside my gallbladder had absorbed all the pigment of the bile.

I'm having this same pain on the right side. I'm 13 days out and it's freaking me out because before today I haven't had any pain. I hope I didn't mess anything up. It doesn't hurt while laying down but when I get up and try to walk it feels terrible!!!

I am also 13 days out and have not been having any pain but today i am having the same type of pain but on my left side. Maybe it is just the internal healing?
