Those are the symptoms of a leak! You need to call your surgeons office. Although, with your surgery being May 15th, you should be out of the danger zone for a leak, but still, I would call surgeons office to be sure!

I don't get pain but I do get dizzy, lightheaded, and nausea but only sometimes. No idea why

When I overeat, I feel hot, sweaty. It takes 20 mins to go away. I don't actually have a temperature. It is more like a hot flash.

I was in the hospital for 3 weeks they found nothing! They did a scope and everything so no leaks. But it doesn't happen always only sometimes. Like I tried some ice cream then 20 min after pain. Then I had a hotdog and was fine. It's not all the time but the pain is getting unbearable and I have yet another dr appt on the 21st and the 23rd for more test just figure I'd ask to see if anyone else is getting it too

It sounds like gallbladder problems to me.that makes you go hot and sweaty .and feel really sick.and its only sometimes.

I agree with the gallbladder. Look up "cholecystitis," and see if the symptoms fit. The pain from my gallbladder started small. I would hurt for 20mins. Then, it was an hour. Then, I couldn't sleep at night. Next thing I know I'm in the hospital having developed pancreatitis due to my gall stones. I had to wait for the pancreatitis to have my gallbladder removed later in the week.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
