Magsnlucy 10 Posted August 12, 2012 Sorry sent it too soon. Stupid phone! Lol ok so my story is... I am about 2 and a half months out of surgery. Lost about 45 pounds and I feel awesome!!! But I seem to be going through a mental phase right now. I seem to be CONSTANTLY second guessing myself in terms of what I eat. I am pretty much back to a normal diet. I avoid fried foods and sodas and they don't really feel great in my belly so if doesn't bother me that I dont eat them lol. However, lately I seem to always tell myself I'm eating too much. When in reality I know I'm not. I sometimes think I actually eat too little, but my subconscious thinks I overeat. Does anyone else have this feeling. I guess it just takes time to have your head adjust. Also one more question. Lately I feel like I a little bit hungry. Im taking an acid reducer so that's not it, and it's not huge hunger pains, but I do feel it and my tummy grumbles a little. Usually I drink something and it goes right away. Thoughts? Thoughts?[/quote'] Hi, I'm almost 2 months post op and have been feeling the same. I'm noticing an increase in heartburn and getting hungry more freq. I've started writing down everything I eat. My tummy grumbles n I eat a lil snack, applesauce, pudding to try n take the edge off. A friend of mine said to try and eat every 2 hrs. I've started that n helps but the heartburn is getting bad. Zantac 150 helps so much..have u experimced headaches? I check my Bld pressure n its normal. But my heart rate is in the 50's. Low. I'm going to call the Dr tomorrow. mylifeinpink 349 Posted August 13, 2012 Measure everything! And if you have a smart phone- download myfitnesspal and use it faithfully. It really does help a lot! And lastly if you are losing- then you're probably right on track!
Magsnlucy 10 Posted August 13, 2012 I have myfitnesspal. I do love it. It really helps. And ur right, obviously if I'm loosing the weight then what I'm doing and the level I'm currently at is correct. Thanks for your help. Btw: I haven't had headaches, but try increasing your fluids. Headaches can be a sign of dehydration. There are different levels of dehydration, and it's not just thirst. It's different for everyone. 1 mylifeinpink reacted to this
