Sherry77 166 Posted August 12, 2012 I am 2 weeks post op. I went to a renaissance fair yesterday. I thought it would be difficult being around all of that yummy food, however I just kept thinking "wow those portions are so huge" the ironic thing is before surgery that was a normal size to me. The most difficult thing for me to pass up was the pickles. I had no problem watching people walk by with plates piled high with cheese frys or huge waffle cones with 5 scoops of ice cream. I swear there was a pickle stand around every corner. I also notice when people post recipes like tomatoes cucumbers and balsamic dressing my mouth starts to Water. What is wrong with me? I love it, however I'll love it even more when I'm able to eat those healthy fares :-)
Ms skinniness 3,003 Posted August 12, 2012 Excited to hear your thinking about healthy foods, even if you can't eat them yet. I love colorful fruits and veggies, I just can't eat that many. 4 nursing38, lessofmeismore, Sherry77 and 1 other reacted to this

Lauranbob Mc 94 Posted August 12, 2012 I was just reading an article on fair foods. and it was saying that one turkey leg has more than 1300 calories and the fat content would choke you. before I read this I would have gone straight for that healthy turkey. http://shine.yahoo.com/photos/5-ridiculously-bad-summer-park-slideshow/
