neenagh 0 Posted November 6, 2006 I have come to the conclusion that chicken and my band don't get along. I have slimed and pb'd a few times now. At first, i thought, just didnt eat slow enough or chew well enough. But i have noticed it only happens with chicken. *sigh* So i'm gonna stay away from it from now on, cuz pbing and sliming are the PITS.
argon 3 Posted November 7, 2006 awww... that's not good. Probably a good idea though :thankyou:
Wheezy 0 Posted November 7, 2006 The kids are adorable Neenagh! I have to tell you that the worst Pb I had was with chicken. It was grilled chicken. Since then, I only eat soft chicken, like cooked in a casserole or with some sauce of some kind. Maybe chicken in a slow cooker would be OK. It's such a good choice of low fat Protein so don't write it off until you have tried it other ways. Oh Yeah! Chicken wings is also a big NO NO. I had 2 chicken wings last weekend and spent the next 20 minuted pbing in the restaurant rest room. Lots of fun....NOT!!!!
neenagh 0 Posted November 7, 2006 Thanks for the sympathy mandi Thanks wheezy, if its really soft, i'll give it a try. Thanks re; the babies too!

argon 3 Posted November 7, 2006 Yeah, that's a good idea... especially slowcooker chicken! Let us know if that does the trick!
angel bear 2 Posted November 7, 2006 Neenagh, chicken does the same thing for me. And I find salad doesn't sit too well anymore either. Hubby says I have to chew more than 50 times (ha ha) I drive him crazy with the number of times I chew my food to make it small enough to go down. I had a bad experience last week when the "girls" and I went to lunch. I ordered Soup (safe you think??) NOT! It was too thick and I felt the slime rising and had to excuse myself to the bathroom. Not a pretty site! One more lesson learned. Must run and finish another history assignment - is Christmas here yet???
Yoda 0 Posted November 7, 2006 Neenagh, ya try the "soft" chicken or at the very least, give it a while and try chicken later on....what you PB/slime on now may be different later.....know what I mean jelly bean?
CLOE 0 Posted November 7, 2006 chicken is a staple for me, but I cannot do wings very well. Neenaugh, when you do try chicken again, try it soft like everyone says, but don't forget to cut it really teeny weeny, that way if you do happen to swallow to soon it may go down anyway. green 6 Posted November 7, 2006 I can do chicken and I can do bread. I chew, chew, chew it of course. I don't think I have enough restriction though....

argon 3 Posted November 8, 2006 Neenagh, what ever happened with the beotch who hit your car? Or can you not say, without incriminating yourself?! Tell us anyway!
neenagh 0 Posted November 8, 2006 I called my insur. broker and he told me that even if i reported it, they wouldn't do anything to her!( her insurance wouldnt go up or anything) my insurance would go up and i would have to pay the deductible. mr. neenagh hit the roof when he heard this, and was making crazy talk like getting her address from a cop friend, or waiting in parking lot of the grocery store in a friends truck with mud on the licence plate and plowing her vehicle and just driving off!. thankfully he has (to my knowledge) done none of the above, and we will have to suck up the cost of fixing the #*$&$ car. He was like a lion with a thorn in his paw all week. If I had her address, I would have shipped him over there to live with her for the week. that would have been punishment enough!
