Rant - Hard Time With Pre-Op Diet

My doctor has me on a 7 day pre-op diet. I know that's shorter than some...

...however, it is not just a liquid diet, it is a NO CALORIE diet. I haven't had anything (other than 10 calories in jello) since last Tuesday. It is so hard. I'm sticking with it, just so cranky and tired. My stomach literally hurts. I got glares at the movie theatre last night because my tummy was rumbling so loudly!

My husband and I buy organic treats for our dog - and even they are appealing. Argh.

Well, I'm usually the "suck it up and deal with it" type. But even I have to say 0 calories for a week sounds impossible.

Pre-op diet SUCKS--a lot.....If it is any help to you--It is way way way easier to do the liquid diet after the sleeve. If you can hang in there help is on the way.
