Carrie's Journey 130 Posted August 12, 2012 I'm sorry. It does get better! My dr gave me 2 prescriptions for nausea but I didn't use them. Do you have something to take or can he prescribe you something?
lcle1234 5 Posted August 12, 2012 Mine lasted about 4 or 5 days. I was feeling the same way you do. It does get better after about the 5th day all around. If you had asked me on day 2 or 3, I would have said I would not do again. Just hang in there!

giggles012980 12 Posted August 12, 2012 Are you on Bentyl? Reglan? These prevent spastic activity in stomach, Reglan promotes the movement along GI tract. How about liquid/pill pain med? Lortab? Prilosec is also a must in the beginning. Everyone handles surgery different so don't get frustrated! Please ask your doc if your not on any of these meds...
