Today is my first day on a clear liquid preop diet. i work nights and thankfully it's my Friday but I am mentally hungry. I've been eating Jello like crazy!

Hi punkaroo,

So your pre-op diet is only 8 days? Lucky you! Mine is 14. Today was my 4th day. Its not easy, but doable. I'm only allowed 2 jellos a day. Interesting that you aren't restricted. I haven't quite figured out why the variation in so many diff protocols.

I am five days down on my pre-op diet. I have two days to go and surgery is on Monday the 13th. It has been so hard and everywhere I look there is food.< /p>
