sr910 55 Posted August 9, 2012 Just wanted to share this "Global Fat Scale" from BBC. It calculates your BMI, then tells you which country your health/BMI is closest to. At my current, pre-sleeve weight, my height/weight/BMI is most similar to the country of Tonga. =( Hopefully I'll be changing to a slimmer country soon! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-18770328 2 funnyfarm319 and lyndynojo reacted to this
minaleigh 95 Posted August 9, 2012 That's interesting! As of right now, I apparently belong in Barbados. And here I've been told many, many times that the United States is the absolute fattest country (it's still one of the worst, don't get me wrong) when there are several above us, and most of those are in the Caribbean! At my target goal, I would belong in Jordan.
Fallenangel2904 494 Posted August 9, 2012 Looks like you'll have some company in Tonga sr since that's where I belong too apparently lol. That's apparently the most obese place to be in the nation- surpassing even the US. That's a scary thought that this thing is saying it's where I belong! jusstice 103 Posted August 9, 2012 Tonga it is. I did find this factoid a bit disturbing: If everyone in the world had the same BMI as you, it would add 341,712,475 tonnes to the total weight of the world's population

LindaS 316 Posted August 9, 2012 I started out having a BMI higher than 94 percent of the women in the US ages 30 to 44. I currently have a BMI lower than 57 percent of the women in the US ages 30 to 44. I started in Tonga and am currently in Fiji. I'm heading towards Myanmar. Very cool facts. Thanks for sharing! gustavo52974 369 Posted August 9, 2012 I came out United States at my current weight! ...ha! that's hilarious. Ironically, I came out United States at my goal weight. Jeez...if I were any thinner than my goal weight, I'd look like I just walked out of Auschwitz.
