labubakari 24 Posted August 8, 2012 My starting weight was 340 lbs & as of today aug. 8th, I weigh 294.8. I haven't been under 300 in at least 9 yrs, & it feels so goooood. Besides having my kids this surgery is the best thing that has happened in my life. Having this surgery, took awhile to adjust, but I thank God for it. I feel like I got my life back. 3 MinaT, xavtay2 and change4life2012 reacted to this
kmcgrew 0 Posted August 8, 2012 How did your surgery go? I was watching you tube videos and it started making me nervous but the nurse in the office said she barely had any pain
CelticHarpist 26 Posted August 8, 2012 Congrats! Sounds like you feel great. You are losing a bit faster than I am, I think. (Sleeved June 11). As the Japanese say: Gambatte! Go for it! 1 MinaT reacted to this
traceyinflorida 499 Posted August 9, 2012 Congratulations on your awesome success! I was sleeved on June 4th too! The first few weeks were a little rough, eating and drinking wise, but I felt great. I definitely have no regrets! 1 MinaT reacted to this
MinaT 669 Posted August 9, 2012 Congratulations. I think you are doing fantastically and losing at a nice rate. So proud of the June Sleevers! I'm also June 4th, I have lost 38 pounds and for those that are wondering why the big difference, same surgery, same day, I just have to caution people, not all people lose at the same rate, even two people that start at the same weight, same height, etc. lose at different speeds. I am a slow loser, but I exercise a lot and I lift weights, everyone has their own rate, and everyone has their own issues with stalls. Thank you for the uplifting update!
