CoolBreeze 154 Posted August 8, 2012 Has anyone had trouble swallowing those giagantic Calcium pills we have to take 2-3 times a day? They have got to be the biggest pills on the market. . And if the calcium has all that the dr's want us to have, do we need to still take and extra dose? Like the B12 - if that's in calcium do you still need the pill? I HATE TAKING PILLS  . If I drink 3 glasses of milk a day will I be getting the right amount of calcium without taking the pills? Thanks for your responses.

sassypants 674 Posted August 8, 2012 I am prescribed adcal- D3 effervescent tablets I take them twice a day. Its Calcium and D3 together, and they are a nice lemon flavour too! Even when I told calcium before the op I took a D3 vit because it helps your body absorb the calcium. 1 Sheree reacted to this

susanfaye 162 Posted August 18, 2012 Fyi' date=' i was told by my nutritionist not to take viactiv or any Calcium gluconate. Twin Labs bariatric has chewable calcium. The texture is much like tums
