I'm a May 15th sleever. I'm down 42lb since surgery day. Could be doing better with exercise but the weight and inches are coming off. Excited to buying from Target regular side. Will continue to push forward. Very Happy!

May 21st here. Doing fabulous! Down 56 pounds. Half way to goal. Loving life. Congrats to you all. Yesterday I bought a pair of size 14 skinny jeans with knee high boots. Who would have thought I would ever be able to wear clothes like that. Started at a size 20.

May 15th here. I am down a total of 57 lbs. I exercise daily but I know that I should work out more. It is so nice to be able to buy regular size clothes now. :D I haven't been this size in over 10yrs. I still have another 66 lbs to go to get to my doctors goal. Patience!!! LOL

Hi everyone! I've been reading this forum for a long time, but this is my first post. I got my sleeve on May 14th, and I am 51 pounds down. I've dropped 2 sizes and I'm quickly on my way to another size. I'm seeing numbers on the scale that I haven't seen in over 10 years and my BP medication has been reduced. I just started exercising again, and it feels great. I LOVE my sleeve!

May 3 for me, I was 270 at surgery and 228 now!! I had lost 20 pre op so that's 62 total!! I just recently started buying new clothes :-), I've also become a workout junkie!!! I've amazingly lost my sweet tooth, but still struggle with my protien intake. We ROCK !!!

Hey y'all,

I had my sleeve done on may 21. Started at 244 and now I'm at 205! I had to have my gallbladder taken out 2 weeks ago, so I have one more week before I can get back to my Zumba and weight training, I am still walking everyday. This is the best thing I could have done for myself! I no longer take meds for high blood pressure or no more insulin shots and meteor in for diabetes!!!!!!! Keep working hard everyone.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
