Serendipity 1 Posted August 7, 2012 Hello, My name is Linda and I am 44 years old. I am a Wife, Mother to one Child and Proudly owned by three Dogs and 5 Cats In August 2010 was found to have Cancer cells on my Ovaries, which resulted in a total hysterectomy. After then the depression started and I turned to food for comfort. I have Diabetes, Asthma and other medical problems. I decided last year I was going to take back control of my life and after discussion with my Family will go ahead with the sleeve surgery. My pre op is on the 14th August and the surgery on the 21st August.Thank you all for taking the time to read my Intro and I wish you all well on your Journeys. P.J.Rox 2 Posted August 7, 2012 Hi Linda! I am also a 44 year old mother of 2 with 3 cats and 2 dogs. I had the sleeve on may 7. The recovery was tough and I worried I would be miserable forever, but that passed and I feel great! No regrets and a whole new (smaller) me. Good luck! 1 Serendipity reacted to this
