SarahG0417 13 Posted August 7, 2012 I don't have a surgery date yet, I have my second consult with my surgeon next week, and my first NUT appt the same day, I have lost 6 pounds so far. I am really emotional. I don't mean a little teary and upset. I mean hard core crying at everything (worse than pregnancy), depressed, and I just want to go to bed and sleep until this all gets worked out and I am going to surgery, or better yet wake up after surgery in recovery. I don't know what to do, I just feel hopeless and alone, and I don't know..... Has anyone else gone through depression and hopelessness pre-op? What did you do? Randi 21 Posted August 7, 2012 Definitely!! I can related. When I made the final decision to have the surgery I remember just shaking and not sleeping with many fears. That subsided and then I started getting really excited. It was a great decision for me and i wish you all the best!!
