anaustin 7 Posted August 7, 2012 My surgery was August 1st and for the first two days I felt great but these last few days I feel like I've been hit by a dump truck I've been taking my pain meds every four hours. sandipq 8 Posted August 7, 2012 I was sleeved on the 31st and also have experience from a previous hernia surgery. I also feel better the first couple of days and then the second week seems harder. They say it is because of the internal healing going on. I am still taking pain meds too, but have cut the dose to half. Just enough to take the edge off so I feel like getting up and walking. When I had my hernia surgery I think I was completely off meds at 2 weeks... Fyi I have also had 3 c sections and never took pain meds after the second day. Nina88 73 Posted August 7, 2012 I was also sleeved on Aug 1st, I still feel very sore in my belly especially the big insinsion.
