I can't lay on my left side, it's very tender but it only bothers me when I lay on it. It's fine otherwise. Anyone else experience this?

Yes! I am the same way. The right side is fine but can't hardly turn to the left side. I hope this gets better soon!!

I've noticed that if I use a king size pillow and lay on my side with it between my legs and pushed up tight against my tummy I can sleep on my side

I had this too and it is slowly but surely getting better. I basically had been sleeping on myback since surgery two weeks ago until a few nights ago. I have found a pillow helps with it.
