6 Months Of Weigh Ins?

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone!

I have a question, specifically those of you who havr UHC. Does insurance require 6 mos of consecutive weigh ins with ur pcp? I am wondering because I was told by my psychologist at my consult that you need to have six months worth of weigh ins in order to be approved. I am really confused.

It depends on your individual plan. My UHC plan did require a 6 month physician supervised diet, whether that was with my PCP, a NUT, or some other doctor was up to me. Call the insurance company to find out specific requirements for your employers plan.
