Kiki2788 18 Posted February 24, 2014 Dr. C should have given you Bentyl for the spasms... are you taking it? It helped me a lot. I had mild spasms, not that bad and it only lasted a few days. By day four at home I was off the med. Feeling awesome ever since! You'll do great, you had the best surgeon, just give it a few days I'm sleeved!!! Wasn't as bad as I thought but there's one thing I wasn't warned or even read about..... does or did anyone get stomach spasms when drinking or eating??? And how long did I t last?! Okay sorry it's been a bit since I posted.... He did send me home with Bentyl, Omeprazole, Reglan. I stopped having spasms probably within a week after coming home from the hospital. Thank god. The M.D., PA and Rns said it was spasms when I would drink anything.... as soon as anything hit my stomach it would spasm. not so much gas pains... the hospital and the drs said it was their number one complaint.. the GI cocktail helped a lot too! My surgeon is amazing... I would do this all over again. 1 chilihot59 reacted to this

Kiara5244 62 Posted February 28, 2014 I do think that they are helpful! Everyone you meet has info that you might not have know before and Its always good to feel welcomed into a group with open arms...I usually feel like Im the odd ball due to my weight or the wls journey Im choosing to take so its nice to be among people who are just like you! Its always good to see the people who live in the same place as you do. It makes everything seem like its possible to do. 2 Madelyne Bonthron and Zoey716 reacted to this
