Fallenangel2904 494 Posted November 21, 2012 I'm exactly 1 week out today, I posted this in another thread but wanted to post here. I ordered a new scale and it came today. I haven't weighed in at all since surgery. I got on the scale today and OMG 339 which means I'm 20lbs down from surgery! OMG! I may have been a few lbs lighter right before surgery because they didn't weigh me the morning of but a few days prior and I was 359 and I didn't have a pre op diet, but still HOLY CRAP! 40lbs all together including pre op weight loss! Any regrets I may have had initially are GONE! I haven't been this weight since 2008 and it's very emotional for me because all I did the last 4 years was work to just get into the 330's range and couldn't- and in ONE WEEK with VSG I have!! All you who still haven't been sleeved this is the best decision! It will be hard, but its worth it! I have not one regret today! 4 carrollin825, Ronda, jjones10669 and 1 other reacted to this
jcoufs 7 Posted November 21, 2012 Fantastic!! I couldn't believe the 20 lbs loss either. I know the weight loss will slow down eventually, but this sure is fun. Congrats!

nickyd73 10 Posted November 22, 2012 Got home from the hospital after being sleeved on Monday. I felt great but did stay an extra night Due to them doing the leak test so late which made me super nauseous. I was actually very great full for the extra night of rest. Having 3 kids at home I knew it would be hard. I did make the mistake of weighing myself as soon as I got home. I was UP 8 lbs. please tell me this is normal!!! I am having a REALLY hard time getting liquids down, every sip hurts
NewKezia 20 Posted November 22, 2012 I think I am over the initial carb withdrawal. Feeling better than yesterday. I am working a 12 hour shift tomorrow and Friday. I just hope I'm not starving halfway through my shift. Happy thanksgiving everyone! 1 ferraroma reacted to this
ashley624 21 Posted November 22, 2012 I'm having a bad day today. I couldn't get any Protein in other than chicken broth. I tried the Unjury chicken broth and just couldn't stomach it. I'm so wipped out and i have no energy. I feel a little loopy. Good news is there is no fever or pain, except a little in my incisions.Hope tomorrow is better. Freja 27 Posted November 22, 2012 I just completed day 1 of the preop diet. I'm hungry and have a headache. I'm keep telling myself I'm in the homestretch. My NUT said this would be the hardest part of the journey. I certainly hope so. chicken broth isn't so bad, but too much of a good thing is still too much.
