It is so hard to drink slowly. I'm wondering how everyone else is fairing with this? How long do we have to drink slowly?

I am two months out and while I cannot chug anything, I do not drink as slow as I had to when I first started. I cannot drink a Protein Shake quickly because they are filling, but I can drink 8 oz of Water in a fairly short amount of time.

at my 2 week post op appt I asked my surgeon the same thing, he told me let your body be the guide. I felt much better when I could drink a little faster w/out discomfort. good luck.

at an early point, i was able to drink Water quickly no problem

per my NUT, i could start gulping my H20 - as soon as i felt i was ok

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
