Since you mentioned Tim Hortons Coffee....I just about freaked yesterday. I'm in the process of moving my gym and my restaurant yesterday hosted a 5 course gourmet theme dinner...we were sold out. Both situations have been keeping hubby and I very busy and the past few days I have been quite overwhelmed by the amount of work to do. The equipment was moved into the new gym location on Friday....my helper called me and said that the equipment didn't fit and she was in a panic....as soon as I had a chance in between shifts at the restaurant, I ran over to see.....the place was an absolute mess...nothing was placed according to my floor plan so of course it didn't fit. I just couldn't deal with it at that point....I drew a complete blank and had to leave the building.

Sooooooo Friday night I couldn't sleep because this bothered me so much, I got up at 4 am, walked to Tim's to get a larger tea.....but had a large French vanilla Capaccino instead because that was my mood.

I felt guilty because I knew it was high in calories so when I got home later I checked it out online......WOW...........way over 250 calories for that lousy drink!!!!!!!!!!! And, I was so tired and upset I didn't even enjoy it! I'll never do that again.

Oh yeah.......everything with the equipment worked out just fine.......my helper thought she knew better than I and decided to tell the movers where SHE thought the stuff should be placed instead of going according to my floor plan. Whew!

I can too! Mine's about half a block away! I don't though.

There's one just across the parking lot from where I work, so I just go there every morning as soon as I get to work. Mmmmmm... coffee. I always get a large or XL, and unfortunetly, I drink so slow, that it's usually cold by the time I get to the end. Bleh!

I am so jealous I have to drive to tim horton's. I am surprised that no one has died there yet. Cause sometimes the parking lot is so jammed you can't get in and you can't leave! And to go inside, OMG it's scary because obviously I go there sans caffine! Anyway I have had Tim Horton's Rage once or twice.

Speaking or Tim's have you tried their new Breakfast sandwich? I love it. Hopefully by next week I will only be able to eat half of it.

Thanks for the vibes Cloe!

Yes, I drink tea...but not often. When I do, I have a really nice spearmint tea I like. Overall, I have a problem drinking hot liquids (ie. coffee, tea, hot chocolate, neocitron)....dunno why....always have. But as I said, if the tea gets cool enough I will drink it....but there is a short window of opportunity before it is cold and thereby icky!

Yep.....small village, we can walk to almost everything. I'm mostly a tea drinker and lately have been drinking Decaf tea because I'm just out of menopause but too much caffiene seems to trigger the odd hot flash or two.

I love the FV Cap but it really is way too high in calories.....empty calories. I'd rather have an extra ounce of Protein to help keep me full.

:paranoid I just the worse day today. I had my hair done and the other stylists at the salon were so annoying. My stylist had to color my hair twice so I was there for 3 hours so I was bitchy about that then the girls decide to discuss what they will have for lunch. That was annoying . next the bank sent a cheque I wrote back NSF when there was money in my account wierd isn't it. I go to the bank and the manager is on holidays till the end of the month . I hate that banks are so not personal these days you can't even call the branch directly. I have to call Toronto and they call them and then they call me and that was annoying! Then I go back to work and the girl I work with tells me that she can't work on Halloween evening. I make the schedule and she has another job. So I have to schedule her based on her availabiltiy (she worked for me before she got the other job yet she expects me to schedule her around the other job) and then her husband goes out of town so I have to schedule her around that and then I have to schedule her based on her babysitter's schedule. So she gave me her availability so I scheduled her, she did not say "I can't work Halloween nite cause I have to take my kid trick or treating. " So I lost it!!

I was talking to my husband and I was vibrating "I WANT TO EAT SOMETHING BAD!!!!!" So I bought fat free fudgecilces and I ate 2:nervous

My son comes home from school with a note from the principle with a warning (they have 3 warnings and you get suspended!) On the warning letter it says "Respect others and don't harm them or school property. Your child took a "Gatorade" bottle from another student without his permission. He decided to drink some of the contents." Now I was livid:angry I know my child is not angel but really, he didn't harm anyone. He took someones drink. How petty.... I called the school and talked to the principle but she said she would "look in to the incident" I said it sounded ridiculous to me from what was written on the form.

So from there I went shopping. Bought my self two tops and some other things I didn't need! But I did calm down so my kids didn't have to get the brunt of my bad day.

I really needed to just put my bad day out there. OK it is over I am going to bed early, tomorrow will be a fabulous day for me !!!!!:clap2:

Okay, I think our Planets are realigning or something. Everyone I've talked to this week, including myself are just about ready to burst. Everybody seems to be plagued with very strange, stupid things. Very stressful, annoying things are going on. Some tide or some moon or stars or something is out of whack. Lol. Hopefully they will get it together soon, so we can all have a relaxing enjoyable Thanksgiving!:)

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
