mverges 15 Posted August 2, 2012 I'm just curious, for those of you who had your sleeves done in Mexico, did youvhave any post op visits? I had my sleeve done in Atlanta, but live about 3 hours away. I missed my post op visit today, and I'm mad at myself for it. And my doctor doesn't have anything open for another month! Which is kind of annoying. Am I ok? What so they look for or do during a post op visit? I'm healing fine, eating fine and feeling fine. But I'm stressed a bit.
O.T.R. sleever 3,386 Posted August 2, 2012 I was sleeved in Mexico, a have not had any post-op visits. I do however have unlimited access to my surgeon and his team via Skype & telephone. I personally haven't excercised that option but it is there if I feel I want or need it.
DivaK 55 Posted August 2, 2012 I had my first post op visit about two weeks after surgery and my doctor just asked how it was going and looked at my incisions which were healed. After that he just basically reiterated what was in the book as for food progression. I see him in about another week or so for my second post op visit. It's really nothing to worry about if you are doing fine.
