I everyone......just got home today from my sleeve surgery on Monday July 30. Everything went so smoothly and I couldn't be happier! Only had to have pain meds while in recovery. Of course I'm super sore but never have been in pain. To me, having a c-section was somewhat worse. Wearing the band they gave me around my abdomen area has been very helpful. So far, so good! Wonder how other "July 30ers" are doing.....

I was July 30 as well. Recovery was a little rough for me--a bit more pain than I expected. I had some complications and was given a lot of medication during surgery to speed up my heart. (I was originally scheduled for July 23 but was rescheduled on the 30th after my heart stopped on the table) They surgeon said they gave me a tremendous ."amount of meds enough to "jump start a 3 day dead horse." As a result of this I battled nausea, but i am doing better now.
