I can easily eat 1400 cals a day and I'm not eating bad.... I don't think.

Breakfast- 1.5 servings vanilla chai tea

Midmorn- laughing cow light cheese wedge, 8 turkey pepperoni's

Lunch- oven "fried" chicken (baked with cornflakes) and spinach

Mid afternoon- same as mid morn

Dinner- string Beans and 1.5 perdue chicken strips.

By the way I am hungry a lot of the day. I also drink a lot of Water. I ca easily drink 10 cups of water and 100grams Protein.< /p>

input please

I would get more fresh fruit/veggies (if you can have those) instead of 16 turkey pepperoni's a day.

I know you have probably been asked this, but are you taking a PPI?

It helped me so much with "hunger" throughout the day.

Also, you aren't supposed to be eating until you are full, just until you are no longer hungry. There is a difference and for me it is almost 2 pieces of light salami.

What is in the chai tea? Sugar? Protein? Why don't you switch it out for a low calorie high Protein One? They make some powders that taste amazing. I am a big fan of Click, they make coffee ones with 15g Protein.< /p>

Is there more that you're eating? I added your menu up real quick and it only came to about 550 calories. 47 grams of Protein and 50 grams of carbs. The cornflakes on your chicken account for half of those carbs. If you just baked your chicken without the corn flakes you'd help keep your blood sugar more regulated by not introducing so much insulin into your system after that meal.

And if that is truly all you're eating then no wonder you're hungry. Plus, you're really not eating Breakfast. The most important meal of the day. And those turkey pepperoni's....I love them. But really they don't pack much volume for the calories they deliver. Not that they are that many calories, but you could eat a boiled egg for the same calories and it would be way more filling than the little pepperoni's...in my opinion.

Thanks for ur opinions. When I put it in MFP it came up to 1200 cals.. but the tea was bolthouse farms so that was a lot.

I also think the fruit and veg idea is something I need to work on. I kinda cut it out of my life to focus on Protein 9and I'm a veggie lover.

I stopped taking my prevacid 3 days ago because I ran out. If that's why I'm hungry I need to get something asap.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
