Piplula 709 Posted July 31, 2012 So does anyone else have gum problems? My mouth was very healthy prior to surgery ..gums and teeth etc. My gums now are tender..even when I brush Sometimes I have an ulcer occasionally..I following the prescribed diet and brush twice a day..just wondered if this is a side effect similar to my vision changes that have now returned to normal. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this?
Rootman 1,101 Posted July 31, 2012 I had some issues, I think the reduction in calories and Protein may play a part. My last checkup things were just fine. Some gum problems are a sign of dehydration, be sure to get enough liquids in. 1 Piplula reacted to this

I welcome you advice! Thanks!
traceyc 89 Posted July 31, 2012 I saw someone else mention sore gums before. My gums have always been tender, but it seemed like my whole mouth was achy in the beginning to about 2 months out. Have you been throwing up much? That I would think could also irritate them.

So..maybe this is a side effect that will correct its similar to my vision.
