kmcgrew 0 Posted July 31, 2012 Hi I am getting sleeved on August 13th. I just started my liquid diet. Yuck. I found Optifast to be tolerable compared to what I was drinking yesterday. I could barely keep down the whey vanilla Protein Shake, it was horrible. So glad to hear that optifast is ok for preop liquid diets.

Sleevealicious 43 Posted August 1, 2012 You can do it! I am currently on my 10th day of Optifast. Everyone says that it gets easier , and I didnt believe it, because how could it get easier? You get more and more hungry right ? Nope ! It really does get easier, i can't believe it . The shakes and Soup and everything were so gross at first , but now I like it! Just push through and after about the 5th day it'll be much easier. The best tip I can give you , is to make sure you prepare the soup with a blender or food processor! If you just try to stir with a spoon it gets soooo clumpy , gross! I ate the soup like that for the first 6 days before the light bulb came on. This was probably something that a lot of people thought of right away though , haha . 6 days of powdery, clumpy soup- yuck ! Anyway, don't worry, you SO got this!
