VSG AJH 499 Posted January 27, 2014 Quick question, do any of you remember having really bad burning feeling on the inside like where the incisions are at one week post op? Every time I move it feels like a match is being held to my insides at the upper incision site. Yes, 1mjs -- it's normal. Mine felt like little flashes of icy fire and extended around my left side (where my biggest incision was) and into my back. Doc said it was healing nerves that extend laterally around the body. malq1990 170 Posted January 27, 2014 Had my 8 month follow up with my surgeon today. High weight 240. Starting weight 228. Current weight 136! New goal weight 125. 11 lbs to go! prettylittleheart 95 Posted January 28, 2014 Thanks everyone for the kind words! Little bit about my routine - I won't lie - I treat myself every now and then, but I always stay on track. I eat mostly nuts, tuna, and lettuce. Some veggies and some fruit. Love Peanut Butter and almond butter. I still do Protein Shakes.< /p> I do watch my carbs and portions a lot. I do also think it's important to treat yourself every now and then. I do it about once every two weeks - like frozen yogurt or sushi & I never really go off track. There's some truth to eating Breakfast like a King, lunch like a prince & eat dinner like a beggar. I also constantly push fluids - I probably get anywhere to 100-120oz/day. I exercise about 3-7 times a week - I left little weights (8-16) pounds I run/walk/skip about 20 miles a week. (Give or take a few) Push ups, sit ups, wall sits, squats I've tried insanity too. I'm still not where I want to be, but I'm getting there!
