lglavish 15 Posted July 30, 2012 Today is surgery day. We'll be leaving in 30 minutes. I'm hoping there are no complications and that I can lose this weight for good. I won't ever forget how it is- the stigma associated with obesity, not to meantion the health issues and depression. I vow not to ever lose the humility and empathy that being this big has helped create. It is one very endearing quality that we all have. See ya on the other side. 6 danithediva, PEvette, Butterthebean and 3 others reacted to this

desertmom 297 Posted July 30, 2012 That is a great resolve. ( is that the right word?) Some of my great friends have forgotten who they were and where they came from after they got thin.I found it really sad at first but now I just think it will come back to bite them on the behind, like things usually do. Good luck with your surgery and keep us posted as to how you are doing. xxo 1 lglavish reacted to this
