misslisa810 33 Posted July 30, 2012 Now that we can't take Advil or Alleve, I'm finding these Tylenol do not help for cramps! Any suggestions?

jsbella 3 Posted July 30, 2012 I went to my dr.s the other day for my 2 week post op. I "cheated" and took Motrin 1 week out due to severe cramps. She laughed at my "confession" when I told her and said it was fine. She said take them if I feel I really need them, just in moderation. She said it wasn't so bad for sleeve patients as gastric bypass. I couldn't handle the cramps! So, check with your dr. b/c it might be fine.

keldolbeth 262 Posted July 30, 2012 My doctor hasn't been as strict about NSAIDs as other doctors. I take naproxen when I work out because I have a torn meniscus. Sometimes, even if I don't work out but don't take any for a few days I start to get sore. He told I could resume the day I left the hospital. But, as always, follow what your doctor says. They are all different!
