notime 340 Posted July 29, 2012 It depends on the pill. Ask your pharmacist which can be broken in half.
sassypants 674 Posted July 29, 2012 You haven’t put any details but I would ask your doc or nurse if you can or not. I am just starting my 11th week out and the only pill I am allowed to take is my folic acid pill that is this big o its a tiny fat pill and even then she told me if I feel pain twinges to stop taking them. You need to get a crusher for pills your meant to take that they can’t give you in effervescent/dissolve on tongue/liquid form

suzjag 107 Posted July 30, 2012 Thanks it is a time release. ????
circa 333 Posted July 30, 2012 Thanks it is a time release. If its a time release, it will lose its intended effect. If you need to cut a pill in half, ask your doctor to switch you to a non-time release version of the pill. 1 Izuri reacted to this
