So Long...

No, Donna, I'm serious. I've evidentally missed something, somewhere. I guess that's what I get for NOT reading all the caty posts. It starts to look a little like a biotch session, I just go read something else.

There was a bunch of stuff that was really bad about two weeks ago and many of the threads were locked, and I think even removed. However, the members that were involved were all banned from LBT. Everything has died down and everyone has moved on. LBT has gone back to being the wonderful support board it was meant to be, thank goodness.

Yup, a couple who once posted here decided to start their own forum. I wish them and those who choose to leave all the best.

You of all people I hate to see go. Such power you have brought. You are here Heather for one reason only. and you know what that is.

Do not leave because of the fighting. You are drawing yourself in when you do that.

I am 39, and you are alot younger. Do not regret what you should have done.

This is my final post to LBT. I have found support elsewhere. I am not deleting posts, it isn't worth my time.

Best of luck to you all! :(

Awwww. I didn't get to know you very long. Sorry to see you go. Just curious though, can't people post on multiple forums?

I was persuaded to come back and explain myself guys and gals. I have found another board that is more interesting to me. I WILL check in here from time to time, but I work 50 hour weeks, and don't have time to keep up with 2 different websites. I just can't do it.

I am not leaving because of the fighting, but because of another site that I joined that I prefer over this one.

And what does blah, blah, blah mean? How rude!

I just wanted to tell you guys that I wouldn't be here any more so you wouldn't be wondering. I guess I should have explained myself better.

Good Luck to you all!!!

Of course you can! However, some people think its blasphemy.

I play in multiple sandboxes, however, my time has been limited as of late, and I dont post here as much as I used to.

I go where I can get my questioned answered.

Even if that means posting the same question to 3 different boards.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
