After I ate applesauce I felt terrible, not really nauseus more like anxiety my heart was beating really fast. Then I threw up. Does anyone have a way to deal with these terrible symptoms?

I had that a couple weeks ago and asked my dr about it. He said it was from eating too fast. Also, I had a sweet tea instead of unsweet because Sonic messed up my order. He said could have been the sugar also.

I had a similar reaction to apple sauce, I think it was because I took too big a bite. I have had it since with no problems.

It is really hard to slow down! What else have you been eating? I need ideas!

I got that and the sweats after drinking Milk of Magnesia and I got it when eating too dry turkey meatball that I made. (I do not recommend making turkey meatballs with 99/1 Turkey, it was like a one ounce brick in my tummy.

Yes for about 4 mos post op each time I introduced something "new" to my tummy I immediately knew if it was a go or stop... The nausea was horrible. Now I keep with what doesnt make me will feeling and stick with it- Don't try too many new things becasue Ive thrown up more in the last 8 months than I have in 42 years.. lol..

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
