Help! I just decided I'm going to get the sleeve and not the Lapband but I'm scared bcuz I don't want to loose my curves :/ I love my butt & boobs. Has anyone kept their butt and boobs? All I hear is people say they lost theirs. But was it big to begin with? And how much has everyone lost? Can I lose too much?

You sound like me! I have always had hips and a full sized chest and i am not sure how i would look without them. I am definitely nervous about that.

I'm hoping to gain a shape!!

Hopefully, thats possible!

I am 5'8 and boxy, kinda apple shaped...I have no butt, no hips, but a large chest. I know I have went down a cup size already (I refuse to acknowledge it lol), but thats ok, I guess.

I learned that you can rock it with any shape it's about how you carry yourself. I have a 46dd chest, I have big hips and butt but I wish I could just be proportioned nicely.

I soo feel you on not wanting I lose the boobies and booty.I am hoping to go from 224 to 135 after my sleeve next week . I used to be that small and had plenty of T and A... I am worried with the weightloss that the extra skin I have grown since them will not shrink back and my T and A will be saggy and therefore look lost. I have a 3 point plan for this...

1. Squats and Lunges

2. If my boobies go I will not hesitate to buy new ones.

3. Lunges and Squats ;)

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
