shell04937 0 Posted September 8, 2006 I went to my lap band dr yesterday and he gave me the green light.... I had gained 12 lbs since my first visit at his office and they have a 5lb rule where you cant gain more then 5 lbs from first visit to surgery date. But since it has been over 2 yrs since my very first visit he is waving the rule. He said that my meds probably did not help me with my weight. So his Nurse told me that there are no openings until Oct 16th and she would set me up for the first available appointment and let me know. I was at the hospital today have another procedure done to take care of some womenly issues so I was not here to get a call. I am hoping to hear something tomorrow or monday about the date.
