Cookeeeeez 269 Posted July 27, 2012 A lot of people have said they use anti-gas strips from the pharmacy... I really can't remember their name though, sorry hope you feel better soon and congratulations on a successful surgery
gettingsleevedintexas 10 Posted July 27, 2012 I had surgery on 7/25, I've been using Gas-X Strips and the Prilosec OTC that my Dr. recomended for the fisrt 60 days after surgery. They definatley help. Right before I was discharged fron the hospital yesterday, I was given a Dusolex (sp?) suppository and about 2 hours later...major gas relief. Hope this helps! kelleeh11 1 Posted July 27, 2012 Trust me ...I KNOW THE FEELING. I had gas pains for 2 weeks and it tends to spread all over the body. At one point it was stuck between my lungs and rib cage and I could not breathe. I used gas x, heating pads, chewed gum and walked during every commercial on tv. I wasn't in any pain from the actual surgery procedure, it was ALL GAS...ugh...sorry Kellee
polican 32 Posted July 27, 2012 I was sleeved on 7-24-12 and I didn't have pain from the surgery, but from the gas as well. I was told to walk a lot to get rid of it, it didn't really help me. You can try Beano or Gas X-strips. It took about 3 days for the gas to start letting out, now I feel fine. Good luck and just be patient, it will go away.
