I use Isopure zero carb Dutch chocolate or Cookies and Cream and them both taste yummy! 50grms of Protein 2 scoops and 2 cups of Milk Plus altogether gives me my 72 grams of protein. This is the best protein I have found (I've tried alot) but I have to order it from Supplement

Warehouse.com but they are not too expensive and they give me a free shaker every time I order so Its the cheaper way for me.

300 calories a serving seems awful high to me. You can get ready-to-drink Muscle Milk "lite"....its only 100 calories in an 8 ounce serving (it comes in chocolate or vanilla), or ready-to-drink Muscle Milk "regular formula"...its 131 calories in an 8 ounce serving, or 180 in an 11 ounce bottle (the "regular" comes in more flavors...chocolate, vanilla, banana creme, Cookies and cream, etc). You might try switching to one of the RTD varieties, to decrease the number of calories you take in, when you have a shake. Best of luck!

Well it's 130 cal if I use one scoop and I rather use two and drink it twice a day instead of 3 -4 times a day

As long as you Are replacing the food with

the muscle milk that is fine. If you are drinking 300 calories plus eating 1000 calories you might want to cut back.

Oh wow I can't remember. I honestly didn't count! I just tried to get in my Protein and Water. Probably 3-5 hundred. Besides Protein Shakes most of the other stuff I ate on full liquids was sugar free.< /p>

tuna salad with a little mayo, egg salad, chicken salad, any kind of babyfood. Really you can eat anything you can blend and that agrees with your tummy. Nothing to drastic ofcourse!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
