When Do U Go Vack To The Pool After Surgery?

My doctor gave me the all clear for the pool at the one month visit. He wanted to make sure all the incisions were completely healed.

I could submerge my incisions in Water after 2 weeks. ( pool/bath)

I went to the pool and just relaxed with some friends and didn't do much swimming just hung out on a noodle. I decided that I would try to swim to the deep end. Bad idea. My stomach muscles were still very very sore that I immediately felt moderate/uncomfortable pain. Be careful and enjoy the cool Water in this Texas Heat!

My doc gave me the go ahead after the month check-up. Swimming is a favorite for me. Prior to his okay he hadn't wanted me to bathe or swim with these incisions.
