Can we have this after surgery? I am

At the hospital for pain in my chest and they came and gave me one.

I think they are safe. That is what my surgeon recommended for my heartburn. Good luck. Hope it is just indigestion.

FYI they won't give you ANYTHING in the hospital unless it is ordered by your physician (even a simple heart burn pill or even a tylenol) . . . nothing without an order. So, your doctor must have ordered it. Usually, there are routine orders that the doctor fills out for things that you can have "if needed." A nurse cannot and will not give any med without an order. Hope this clarifies! :)
