SophieJaneB 92 Posted July 25, 2012 Starting puree's tomorrow! yay! And I need ideas. I went to the deli and picked up some smoked chicken salad, tuna salad, and yogurt. I already have eggs, just need a few ideas of things that might go down well. Thanks!
ppatterson 24 Posted July 25, 2012 I pureed almost everything. I thought it was a fun stage. Weird I know. I would fix dinner for my husband then puree mine up. Had grilled chicken with light honey mustard, Turkey meat loaf, baked fish with DD Tartar sauce, chili, oh and a baked crab cake with ff Tartar. I used chicken and beef broth to thin as needed. Oh and you can take an egg, put it in a mug with a splash of skim milk. Add a light laughing cow cheese and scramble all together. Microwave 30 seconds stir then repeat until softly scrambled. Because I used a fork to break the eggs up during stirs I didn't have to puree the eggs after they were cooked. You would have to test for yourself. I found this stage a treat. Hope this helps. Let your imagination go wild. Remember it may look weird but surprisingly it has the same taste! 2 UTGal99 and SophieJaneB reacted to this
pretty-pink 43 Posted July 28, 2012 I LOVE taco soup!! Although I'm pre-op right now i have some inthe freezer. I'm wondering if I purée it all will it be ok for the soft / purée stage? I put lots of Beans, some corn, tomatoes & olives and ground turkey or venison. Whatcha think?

This sounds good, but you may want to ask the nutritionist about the corn and any seeds with the Tomato.< /p>
