ThinkThin78 25 Posted July 25, 2012 I just finished my 6 month diet. First weigh-in appt didn't count. My nutritionist said I just needed to weigh less at the end than I did at the beginning. Make sure you get all of your other pre-surgery requirements met during this time. My 6 months flew by and I found myself still having to complete things to submit for approval. Good luck - you're on your way! 1 MK1986 reacted to this
brookeco 37 Posted July 25, 2012 Make sure you have them measure your height. I always thought I was 5'5-5'6 and I'm really 5'3 which helps because it made my BMI go up.

I always thought I was 5'10. Turns out I am 5'8.5. I feel short now.

JonathanS 75 Posted August 18, 2012 Did you have to give your doctor paperwork to fill out each time? Yes, my surgeon's office gave me a form to give to my PCP. They made 6 copies of it and we filled it out each month.
