Hi my name is Misty. I will be having my lap band done on 09/21/06 and im so nervous. I figured this would be a good place to meet a few people that are in or have been in my shoes.

Hi Misty. Welcome to LBT and congratulations on your decision to get the lapband. I'm personally just starting my journey (researching insurance & such), but my wife had the surgery in May. She is doing terrific and would do it again in a heartbeat. I wish you the very best!!
