Livinglifeout 217 Posted July 23, 2012 I had my surgery on July 18th. Just flew home and weighed myself. I'm 5 lbs heavier than the day I left? Anyone else experience tis, and what could cause this?
ereneeh 77 Posted July 23, 2012 It probably is the fluids that they pumped into you at the hospital. Also flying will make you retain Water. If you pee all night, you'll see a few lbs. drop. I gained 10 lbs from the hospital. Lost it all within a few days.

Lea Anne 17 Posted July 23, 2012 yep, it's the fluids that they pump into you so you don't dehydrate. i was 13 pounds heavier the day after surgery and 8 pounds heavier on day 3 when i left the hospital. it took me a few days to lose it again.
karenb4729 309 Posted July 23, 2012 Yep - went up 7lbs right after surgery. The good news is that it comes off pretty quickly.
